PlayDates Drop In Hourly Early Learning Center is a Louisiana licensed Type I center. We are located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Bluebonnet Boulevard and North Oak Hills Parkway, approximately halfway between Perkins Road and Highland Road, and at the only traffic light.

Our Mission
We are here as your support system in early learning. We will provide your children with a safe, reliable, playful, and educational environment and care for your childrenor night. Remarkable service is our focus and our signature. Parents, please feel free to drop in anytime and take a tour of our facility. Leave your child with us and we will make sure that they will have a wonderful time! We recognize that your child is always your first priority but we are available when you need us – to run an errand, have a relaxing lunch with friends, business network after regular working hours, attend appointments, go to the gym, or just to enjoy a stress free evening on the town. No matter what your plans may be, we assure you that your child will be in the best caring hands.

Our philosophy is to provide a safe and secure environment while providing children with a fun, exciting, and entertaining place to visit. We strive to make each visit a new and positive experience where children can learn new skills, play with new toys, participate in group activities, create art projects, and interact socially with other children, all while under the constant supervision of experienced, well-trained staff. These activities are designed to provide children with age appropriate social, physical, and cognitive development. Some activities include karaoke, music, arts & crafts, interactive stories, outdoor play, indoor games, and the important element of free play.

No Appointments, Contracts, or Waiting Lists
At PlayDates, you are not required to make an appointment. That means you can feel free to drop your children off anytime. No more scrambling to find child care when your babysitter cancels at the last minute. No worrying about imposing on family and friends. We are, however, limited to 32 children. If you are able to call ahead, you can guarantee a spot for your child!

Unlike traditional day care centers, there is no contract to sign or long waiting lists – from open to close, we’re here for you! We offer flexible hours so you can choose the time that works best for you, which means no wasted money spent on hours you don’t use. Perhaps the biggest difference is that we are open 7 days a week, evenings and weekends, so you can depend on us and make your plans with confidence. There is a minimum charge of one hour for a child’s stay with us during daytime hours and a two hour minimum charge for evenings after 6:00 p.m. Additionally, we must ask that all children arrive by 8:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 10:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday evenings.

Our Team
At PlayDates, all of our staff are CPR and First Aid Certified professionals who go through extensive interviews and background investigations prior to being hired. Our employees have hundreds of hours of experience and we always keep ample staff on hand to ensure that your child is getting all the attention they deserve. Our safety measures don’t end there – we have controlled access entry, monitored and recorded security cameras, and require every adult to show photo identification when picking up children, no exceptions! Only PlayDates personnel only are permitted in the play areas.
